Bloomsbury International School Hatyai would hereby like to express its warm welcome to Dr Kantarin Rugsakorn as its new Director and School Manager. Dr Rugsakorn, who has 36 years experience in the educational sector, has a Doctor of Education degree (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of South Australia, Australia.
For the past few weeks, Bloomsbury has been remodeling its open grounds to include a basketball court, a football field and a playground. These facilities will be put to good use when the school re-opens for the new academic year on 19th August 2019.

Bloomsbury is delighted to announce that our Sixth Form student and erstwhile Head Boy, Max Strubelt, has just applied successfully to (and been formally accepted by) Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand, where he will read for a B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) undergraduate degree in Multimedia Technology and Animation from August 2019. This degree choice offers all sorts of exciting career pathways to graduates upon its conclusion; we are all very proud of Max and would like to extend our warmest congratulations to him and to wish him every success and happiness with his future studies and career.

On 7th January 2019 Bloomsbury’s Principal, Mr Andrew Elliott, received the school’s new Oxford International AQA centreship certificate following various visits made to Bloomsbury last year by Mr Matthew Bennett, Oxford International AQA Examinations’ Regional Director, Qualifications (South East Asia), and various meetings held in Bangkok between Mr Bennett and Mr Elliott.
