Valentine's Day Roses for Charity

On Friday the 14th of February 2020 or otherwise known as Saint Valentine’s Day a huge 5000 baht was raised for the Thai street paws rescue (https://th-th.facebook.com/thaistreetpawsrescue/), a dog’s charity.

ChuckaHitaKickaThrowathon House Event

We had a fantastic time at our sporting house event on 12th February 2020. The event was an inter-house competition focusing on the children’s sporting abilities. The children were a credit to themselves and their teachers. They showed complete dedication and brilliant team work skills when supporting their friends.

Congratulations Once Again Bloomsbury FC!

Bloomsbury FC traveled to Southern International School for the second football match of the year. Bloomsbury felt comfortable after the 7-2 win in the home game. After a hard-fought first quarter Bloomsbury FC were 3 – 2 up.

Student Artists, January 2020

The first student artists of the term are Sugata in Year 8 for her vibrantly colourful landscape, Chichi in Year 7 for her textural oil pastel blending and Puh in Year 6 for his detailed African mask. Well done, great start to the new term.

Chinese New Year 2020

Teachers, parents and students alike all celebrated in a sea of red and gold colours as Chinese New Year has arrived once again. Chinese New Year marks the start of a new zodiac year and we welcomed the Year of the Rat with an afternoon of festivities. The parents committee provided a banquet like no other: noodles, buns, seafood and much more.

Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai visits Bloomsbury

On Friday the 15th of November, Bloomsbury was delighted to welcome representatives from Mae Fah Luang University Chiang Rai. These visitors provided our Years 9, 10 and 11 students a presentation showing them the intriguing and exciting programs their University had to offer our students after they compete their studies at Bloomsbury.

Key stage 4 Nakhon Sri Thammarat School Trip

Years 9 to 12 visited culturally enriched and ethical settings which gave an insight to the past of this part of Thailand and its future. Students visited Wat Phra Mahathat and got to see a Buddhist temple and a pagoda built many years ago and witnessed that it does not seem to have a shadow in the sunlight. Moving on to The National museum of Nakhon Si Thammarat to gain an insight of its history and how it has become the place it is today.

Thanks to the iWind team we then had a chance to find out more about the wind park found in Pak Phanang, how the wind turbines work, how energy is generated and how to make our very own paper windmill. The highlight of the trip involved getting to plant a tree to give something back to mother Earth.

Loy Krathong 2019 Celebration

This afternoon, Monday 11th November 2019, parents/guardians, students, teaching staff and support team all gathered in the school field to experience and celebrate this annual glittering Thai tradition. We highly appreciate all parents for their cooperative attire in Thai Traditional dress and scrumptious authentic Thai desserts kindly provided by our Parents Committee.
