Hello, my name is Cathy and I am excited to be joining Bloomsbury as the Year 2 teacher. I
have a Masters in Teaching, and have been teaching for over ten years in International
settings.
I have been lucky enough to combine my love of teaching with my love of travelling and my
job has taken me to many countries around the world, including Australia, India, Spain and
Seychelles. In my spare time, I love to read, go to the beach, travel to new places and I have always
been a keen swimmer.
I am passionate about student-led learning and love to help and encourage children to think
independently. I want children to have fun in the classroom and to always rise to a
challenge and believe in themselves. I aim to foster a love of learning in each of my
students, and help them to develop the resilience to deal with difficult moments and have
the kindness to help their friends through their difficult times too.
I am very excited to be joining the Bloomsbury family and can’t wait to begin my new
chapter experiencing new cultures and cuisines in the land of smiles.
