The Middle School Girls Basketball team delivered an outstanding performance at the recent Hatyai Triple Crown Tournament, competing against SIH and American Prep. Representing the Bloomsbury Bobcats, the girls demonstrated skill, teamwork, and determination from start to finish.
In their opening game, the team set the tone early with relentless defence and smooth offensive play, securing an impressive 26–2 victory over SIH. Their energy, communication, and control of the game highlighted just how far they’ve come in their development this season.
The second match saw the girls continue their dominant form, defeating American Prep 24–4. Strong ball movement, disciplined defensive pressure, and excellent decision-making ensured the Bobcats remained firmly in control throughout the contest. A special shoutout goes to AiAi, whose fantastic lay-ups consistently broke through defensive lines and energised the team. Lamoon also deserves recognition for her defensive masterclass, shutting down opponents, securing rebounds, and setting the tone for the team’s defensive intensity. Overall, the girls were fantastic throughout the entire tournament—showing sportsmanship, resilience, and a true team spirit. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing their continued progress in the season ahead.
