Hello! My name is Chi Ying Leung, and I am delighted to be joining Bloomsbury International School Hatyai as an Early Years Teacher. I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Hong Kong and have worked in Early Childhood Education for over 11 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with young children from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of learning needs. I am passionate about creating nurturing, engaging, and play-based learning environments where every child feels safe, valued, and confident to grow. I believe that strong relationships are at the heart of successful learning. My goal is to help children develop curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. I firmly believe that children thrive when they feel seen, heard, respected, and encouraged to explore the world around them with confidence and wonder.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy writing, reading, travelling, cooking, and staying active through fitness. I am also a children’s book author, and I love creating stories that inspire kindness, self-confidence, and emotional growth in young readers. I am excited to begin this new chapter at Bloomsbury and look forward to getting to know my students and their families. I cannot wait to become part of the school community and to share a wonderful year of learning, growth, creativity, and joy together.
