My name is Reuben Trotter, and I am originally from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Although I was born and raised in South Africa, I am also a UK passport holder. My teaching experiences of over 29 years have been in various countries including South Africa, United Kingdom, Egypt, Oman, UAE, and China before coming to Bloomsbury International School. I have taught Music to all grades ranging from preschool to key stages four and five. It is my aim to let all the learners experience a variety of musical offerings which would include singing, playing of instruments, creating music and developing the ability to listen to and comment on music from various genres with insight and understanding. In addition, I aim to extend their musical experiences to include group musicmaking like choirs, instrumental ensembles, and smaller groups.
