WELCOME TO EYFS

Hello, and welcome to the Early Years at Bloomsbury International School Hatyai. We are privileged to support our youngest learners as they begin their exciting educational journey.

The Early Years are a magical stage in a child’s life – a time when curiosity, imagination, and exploration shape the foundation for all future learning. At Bloomsbury, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to grow.

At Bloomsbury, we believe that each child is an individual with their own strengths, interests, and potential. Our ethos is rooted in the conviction that children learn best when they feel safe, happy and successful.

LEARNING THROUGH PLAY

Our approach to learning is rooted in play combined with short, focused direct teaching sessions for phonics and maths. Play is the most natural and effective way for young children to develop but it is never “just play” – it is a powerful tool for building knowledge, skills, and understanding.

WHY LEARNING THROUGH PLAY WORKS?

In our classrooms, play is thoughtfully planned to promote exploration, problem-solving, and creativity, while also providing the structure children need to succeed. Alongside rich play experiences; we also teach key skills explicitly, ensuring children are well-prepared for the next stage of their education.
