In term one, our Enterprise students participated in the Young Entrepreneur CCA in which they created, marketed and operated a small business. The disastrous floods prevented them from running the event at the end of term one and we rescheduled it for this past week. This year, we saw the return of crowd favourites such as “smores” and “M&M cookies” but we were also introduced to new international delicacies such as “Lamingtons” and “Tacos in a bag”. After two days of sales and months of planning, they succeeded in making an estimated profit of over 10,000 Baht. All of the proceeds from their businesses will go to sponsor the “Steps for Sofia” charity run to be held this summer.
ในภาคเรียนที่ 1 นักเรียนในรายวิชา Enterprise ของเราได้ร่วมกันทำกิจกรรม Young Entrepreneur CCA ซึ่งพวกเขาได้ร่วมกันคิดสร้างสรรค์ วางแผนการตลาด และบริหารธุรกิจขนาดเล็กของตนเอง ถึงแม้ว่าเหตุการณ์น้ำท่วมครั้งใหญ่ทำให้เราไม่สามารถจัดกิจกรรมในช่วงท้ายภาคเรียนที่ 1 ได้ตามกำหนด จึงได้เลื่อนมาจัดขึ้นในสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมาก็ตาม ซึ่งในปีการศึกษานี้ เราได้เห็นเมนูยอดนิยมที่ทุกคนชื่นชอบกลับมาอีกครั้ง เช่น s’mores และ คุกกี้ M&M พร้อมทั้งได้ลิ้มลองเมนูนานาชาติใหม่ ๆ อย่าง Lamingtons และ Tacos in a bag หลังจากการขายตลอด 2 วัน และการวางแผนที่ยาวนานตลอดหลายเดือน นักเรียนสามารถสร้างกำไรได้มากกว่า 10,000 บาท ซึ่งถือเป็นความสำเร็จที่น่าภาคภูมิใจอย่างยิ่ง โดยรายได้ทั้งหมดจากกิจกรรมนี้จะนำไปสนับสนุนในกิจกรรมวิ่งการกุศล “Steps for Sofia” ที่จะจัดขึ้นในช่วงฤดูร้อนนี้
