Hi, I’m Robyn – born on the warm and generous east coast of South Africa, Durban. I have a Bachelors Degree in Education, in which I specialised in Foundation Phase and Inclusive Education. With 9 years of working directly and indirectly in educating young children, I am confident and passionate in sharing my knowledge and experience. I have great admiration and respect for the mind of a child, and the innate connection it has to nature. I am an energetic yet gentle person and utilize my enthusiasm to promote the environment for learners in a compassionate and self-empowering manner. I have an approachable, friendly demeanour, making myself extremely open at all times. In educating young learners, I strive not to alter the way in which their minds work, but rather to nurture their abilities in both independent and creative thinking. When I am unable to adorn my existence with the presence of young minds, I can oftentimes be found in the nearest sea. I am delighted to be a part of the Bloomsbury Community and look forward to celebrating each child’s identity and uniqueness.
