Hi, my name is David Bernard and I have been a teacher since 2007. I have a BSc Hons in Computer Science with a year in industry and a MSc in Information Security and Biometrics along with a PGCE. I have taught both Computer Science and Mathematics out here in South East Asia. I have been in Thailand a total of 8 years now as well as working for 5 years on the island of Borneo in Malaysia. Before I became a teacher I was mainly in the marketing and sales industry and I also served in the British Army for a while. I try to bring my experiences from my previous working experience into my lessons as part of making them interesting, challenging and relevant. I enjoy working with young people and seeing them develop and take great pleasure in their achievements. I find teaching to be both stimulating and challenging and believe that my influence as a teacher at an early age is essential for promoting lifelong learning.
