Ali Obri

After graduating in England, I began my career as a biomedical scientist. I was also a Police Officer before coming into teaching with a PGCE from Leeds University. I’m now a qualified teacher in the UK. For numerous years, I have been inspiring future mathematicians and scientists while making learning interesting and enjoyable, not only in the UK but also in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, India, Tunisia and Lithuania. In sports, I represented my city at cricket and I am an avid chess player. I also cherish football and watch tennis, F1, and MotoGP intently. Aside from traditional sports, I am also an enthusiastic motorcyclist. I am delighted to join the Bloomsbury community and look forward to fostering and inspiring excellence, global citizenship and lifelong personal growth.
