Grace Allan

Hello, my name is Grace and I am from Pāpāmoa New Zealand. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education and a Diploma in Sport, Recreation and Exercise. I am grateful to have this opportunity to teach the wonderful Year 1 class at Bloomsbury. I have two years experience in New Zealand teaching 7 to 9 year olds. Prior to completing my degree I worked as an early years teaching assistant. Throughout my life I have been involved in coaching and playing in sports teams. I am passionate about creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where I can support students to grow and build their love for learning. I encourage teamwork, resilience and a positive classroom culture where every child feels valued and confident to participate. I believe in the importance of teachers and families having clear communication to support students. In my spare time I enjoy being active by going for hikes, going to the gym and playing sports. I also like to find creative outlets so I am always looking for a new hobby. I am excited to live in Hat yai and learn about Thai culture and history. I can’t wait to start this journey and to become a part of the Bloomsbury community.
